Phoenix Contact to unveil key products at Saudi summit

RIYADH, November 1, 2016

Germany-based Phoenix Contact, a leading electrical engineering company, will showcase its latest technological developments at the upcoming 12th Sabic Technical Conference, a top industrial exhibition, to be held in Jubail region of Saudi Arabia.

The event will take place from November 6 to 9, at King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Cultural Centre in Jubail Industrial City.

Phoenix Contact will display innovative solutions for automation of all processes surrounding oil and gas and petrochemical production, transport and processing, said a statement from the company.

The company will showcase the security router – mGuard, and the newly developed safety relay – PSRmini at the four-day event, it said.

The mGuard is a security router that protects industrial networks against IT attacks. The new security router FL mGuard has been specifically developed for the process industry and satisfies the demanding hardware and IT requirements for security products in process technology and process engineering, it stated.

Moreover, the PSRmini is the newly developed safety relay range from the company. No wider than 6 or 12 mm, it offers enormous space-saving potential of up to 70 per cent at full capacity, it added.
