Dubai hardware, tools event to open with over 250 exhibitors

DUBAI, May 22, 2016

More than 250 leading brands will be exhibiting at the upcoming Hardware + Tools Middle East 2016, the region’s dedicated trade show for hardware, tools, materials and machinery, which will open tomorrow (May 23) in Dubai, UAE.

The event will run till May 25, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Continued expansion of the region's construction industry fuelled by vigorous infrastructural development is spurring on sales of quality hardware, tools and machinery of all kinds. Analysts estimate the current worth of the UAE market for hardware, tools and machinery to be worth Dh10 billion ($2.7 billion), said a statement.

Bringing their comprehensive range of hand tools and specialty tools to the region is Chanellock from the US. The company is a world leader in the manufacture of high quality pliers from as far back as 1886, it said.

Also from the US with a range of household and professional repair products including repair wraps, heat wraps, UV repair pens and rigid patches is FibreFix, which is looking at making a connection with regional traders and buyers, it added.

Uken from the UAE and Wiha from Germany are also among prominent exhibitors to debut new products at the event. Uken will be introducing its measuring tools, drill bits, finishing and interior tools and abrasives across the regional market, and Wiha will showcase its range of award-winning ergonomically designed hand tools, said the statement.

The event will feature three country pavilions from China, Taiwan and Thailand, it added.

Featuring top international brands form Germany, US, Italy and the UAE, the expert zone will display the latest in innovative tools, materials and machinery from leading world manufacturers, it stated.

The companies showcasing their wares at the event will include: Bosch from Central Motors and Equipment UAE; TechnotubiPicena, Italy; Ajustlock, US; VIPA, Italy; Channellock, US; Uken, UAE; Wiha, Germany and FiberFix, US, it said.

The event is a magnet for trade buyers from across the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), including distributors, retailers, exporters, importers, contractors, fabricators, consultants and industry professionals involved in the booming regional construction sector, it added. – TradeArabia News Service
