Mefsco’s new factory to triple capacity

RIYADH, March 21, 2016

Saudi Arabia-based Middle East Food Solution Company (Mefsco) announced that its expansion project will start operations in the second half of 2016, tripling the factory’s capacity on completion.

Mefsco, formerly known as Arasco Corn Products (ACP), is a joint venture between Arabian Agricultural Services Company (Arasco) and Cargill formed in 2013.

The company ensures the continuous extension of its product range by introducing new products and providing a continually expanding range of food ingredients, in addition to investing on the latest technologies and adapting its practices to meet its clients’ ever-evolving requirements.

The company is a large producer of starch and glucose syrups corn based products, in the Middle East, providing complete food solutions for its distinguished customers.

Among its many innovative solutions, the company continues to meet customers’ requirements through its unique Bulk Solution, a service exclusively provided by Mefsco to its customers and ensures supply in the highest food quality standards, hygiene and efficiency in processing.

Additionally, its access to global food technology and research and development expertise through its partner Cargill provides the market with the latest product developments and know-how.
