Top Saudi firms at Gulf Industry Fair

MANAMA, January 31, 2016

A number of leading companies from Saudi Arabia will be taking part at the Gulf Industry Fair, the Northern Gulf region's showcase for the industrial sector, which opens next week in Bahrain.

The event will take place from February 9 to 11, at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

The number of Saudi companies has substantially increased at this year's Gulf Industry Fair, said the event organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE).

The strong Saudi presence will add an important dimension to a show format that is already renowned as a valuable showcase for Northern Gulf industries - from world-scale manufacturing plants to specialist equipment suppliers, distributors and agencies representing the key segments of aluminium, energy and environmental protection, steel and alloys, industrial processes and manufacturing, ports, industrial facilities and logistics, training for industry; and industrial security and safety, it stated.

"Key companies from Saudi Arabia have chosen Gulf Industry Fair as the platform for the marketing and promotion. This is a strong vote of confidence in the value proposition of the Gulf Industry Fair," remarked Jubran Abdulrahman, the managing director of HCE.

The major exhibitors include Abdulkarim, Alaa for Industry, Ashcroft Al Rushaid Instrument Company, Dresser Al Rushaid Valve and Instruments Company, Tiseng Group, Sandwich Panel Factory and  Saudi Gulf Hydraulics.

On their participation, Stuart Hind, the chief executive of Alaa for Industry, said: "As one of Saudi’s largest suppliers of industrial equipment and services we believe that Gulf Industry Fair provides an excellent event for businesses to have a direct marketing point to targeted B2B audience."

"Saudi Arabia is an industrial powerhouse in the Middle East," stated Abdulrahman. "The large group from Saudi together with an international presence from UAE, UK, Poland, US and Germany will add an exciting dynamic at this year’s Gulf Industry Fair," he added.

The event is being sponsored by Bapco under the support of National Oil and Gas Authority (Noga) and Alba.-TradeArabia News Service
