UAE invests $15bn in Jordanian ventures

DUBAI, January 20, 2016

UAE's investments in Jordan totalled to $15 billion, in areas of agriculture, industry and tourism, according to a report.
 
It included ventures in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, Marsa Zayed in Aqaba and the marine services' operation in the city's port, said the AME Info report.
 
Meanwhile, the UAE has been named the top destination for outbound Jordanian investments, which stood at $1 billion, it said.
 
The UAE is an attractive country for investments and has a successful business environment, Faisal Al-Fayez, president of Jordan’s senate, was quoted as saying.
 
It continues to achieve high global rankings in terms of human happiness, economic development, income, services to investors and fast delivery, he added.
