Dmoul Industrial City ... to be developed over 1-million-sq-m area

AEZE to build industrial city near Beirut

BEIRUT, December 10, 2015

A one-million-sq-m industrial area known as Dmoul Industrial City, located 75 km from Beirut, Lebanon, will be developed by Ahmad El-Sawi Zantout Establishments (AEZE), a report said.

Khalil Zantout, chairman of AEZE, was quoted as saying that the land plot will be divided into two parts, in the Business News report.

The first, which represents 80 per cent of the land, will be dedicated for the second category of industries, such as construction material factories including paints, tiles, and metal, as well as slaughterhouses.

The second part will be for the fourth category, including light industries like food factories, the report said.

Investment in the infrastructure is $20 million, according to the report.

The city will include stations for waste, water and sewage treatment. It will also comprise power generation and telephone networks, as well as roads.

“Demand for the land is very good, but we will not start selling before we finish it,” said Zantout.
