Tetra Pak participates in top beverage event

Tetra Pak, a world leader in food processing and packaging solutions, participated and displayed its extensive range of packaging solutions at the 5th Arab Beverages Conference and Exhibition ABCE 2015, held in Jordan.

The two-day event was held at the Grand Hyatt Amman, under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister of Jordan Abdullah Ensour.

Amar Zahid, cluster vice president Greater Middle East & Africa (GME&A), headed the Tetra Pak delegation which focused on showing the latest packaging and processing technologies, with special focus on deploying innovative packages that meet consumer needs and at the same support customer growth plans, said a statement from the company.

During the opening session of the conference Anders Andren, automation solution product manager, Tetra Pak Sweden, gave a keynote speech and presentation about The Future of Digital Marketing in Tetra Pak Packages, it said.

The content of Andren’s presentation covered how digitalisation is significantly changing the way of doing business. Highlighting that Tetra Pak as a global packaging and processing solution provider enables increased value for customers through value partnering, digital marketing applications and services that drive customer operational performance and quality.

In the Greater Middle East and Africa region (GME&A), Tetra Pak operates in 49 countries and has nine market companies, 21 sales offices and five converting plants. In the Arabia area, Tetra Pak is present in 12 countries and has offices located in Dubai, Jordan (Amman), Kuwait City, Lebanon (Beirut), Saudi Arabia (Jeddah and Riyadh) and Yemen (Sana’a). In addition, there is a converting factory in Jeddah.
