Aluminium issues discussed at Alba-backed US summit

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) was a key sponsor and participant in the eighth Harbor's Aluminium Summit.

The three-day event concluded in Chicago, Illinois, US, yesterday (June 3), said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The summit, considered as one of the largest aluminium market gatherings in the Americas, is designed for leaders in the aluminium value chain looking to expand their clients and suppliers base as well as understanding of the aluminium industry.

Attended by Alba chief executive Tim Murray, acting chief marketing officer Khalid Latif and Alba Americas sales manager Zac Jungers, the company sought to strengthen its presence in the global aluminium industry, and met key clients and customers at the summit.

Murray was also a keynote speaker at the summit and presented on the topic "Regions & Aluminium End User Markets That Look the Most Attractive".

"Harbor Aluminium Summit is a globally recognised event, which gives an insight on vital subjects related to the aluminium industry," Murray said.
