Viner ...... new facility represents another significant step forward

Airedale opens new facility in Saudi Arabia

RIYADH, April 21, 2015

Airedale International, a leading manufacturer and designer of innovative cooling solutions, has announced the opening of its new storage and testing facility in Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with local business partner Saudi Temco.

The new plant will facilitate extensive stocking of Airedale EasiCool (6-64kW) and SmartCool (11-233kW) precision air conditioning (PAC) systems in a wide range of up flow and down flow configurations, said a statement from the company.

The range of systems will use direct expansion (DX) or dual fluid variants with free cooling capability, or the latest, award-winning dedicated chilled water (CW) units to suit local data centre applications, it added.

Airedale will provide Saudi Temco with end-of-line and customer witness testing capabilities, which will aid in substantially reducing delivery lead times of fully tested, fully configured PAC units destined for Saudi Arabian data centres, it stated.

Mark Viner, commercial director, said: “Their new facility represents another significant step forward in our growth plans, bringing fully configured systems closer to the market and providing customers with high performance precision products on much shorter lead times.”

Airedale cemented its position in the Middle East following the opening of its branch office at the Dubai Airport Freezone in February 2014, which lead to it securing a number of high profile projects including the Dubai International Airport expansion and Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District project, along with various other significant projects that are still in its initial stages.

In order to support business partners and clients in the Middle East, Airedale has also rolled out an extensive partner training programme.

Viner added: “We are committed to sharing knowledge and best practice in product selection and cooling system design, all done in order to ensure customers get the best out of their applications in terms of energy efficiency and resilience.”

The Saudi facility will form the blueprint for Airedale’s expansion plans throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in the next three to five years. – TradeArabia News Service
