Use of soil microorganisms...increase soil fertility

Microspore showcases agri solutions at Abu Dhabi forum

ABU DHABI, April 9, 2015

Microspore, a company that operates mainly in the field of scientific research aimed at boosting environmental sustainability and agricultural processes, showcased its innovative solutions at the recently concluded Global forum for Innovations in Agriculture in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

It included new solutions in agriculture, in particular the use of soil microorganisms, which sustainably improve soil fertility - contributing to the global development of organic farming, said a statement.

Microbial intelligence was the company’s topic of discussion at the forum - the use of soil microorganisms to increase soil fertility in organic farming was presented by marketing director Michele Sellitto in the Innovations Programme at the event.

The current issue in the global debate is the close relationship between food, population, land consumption and the exploitation of resources in a scenario where nine billion people will need to be fed in the future, said the statement.

Microspore’s choice seeks to guide a new sustainable approach to the use of the world’s resources aimed at ensuring prosperity fuelled by clean energy and water without casing environmental detriment and harm.

GFIA 2015 presented the world’s largest showcase of sustainable agriculture solutions and hosted over 140 innovations, 250 exhibitors, 40 government delegations and 85 nations among the brightest minds to show the world how game-changing technologies can change the way the world grows food forever. - TradeArabia News Service
