Air cargo rules focus for Bahrain forum

Leading experts will discuss issues impacting regional aviation industry impacting the air cargo industry at two major upcoming conferences in Bahrain.

The second annual Middle East Air Cargo & Logistics Conference & Exhibition 2015 (MEACL) and the Bahrain International Airport Development Forum (BIAD) 2015 will be held on April 1 and 2 under the patronage of the Minister of Transportation of Telecommunications (MTT) Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed.

The MEACL, which will be hosted at the Gulf Convention Centre of the Gulf Hotel in Manama, is organized by Arabian Reach, in co-operation with the Bahrain Airport Company (BAC).

Raj Menon, general manager  of Arabian Reach, the organizer of the event, said that more than 70 leading airports and Logistics service providers will exhibit at the event, which is expected to welcome around 150 delegates and 1,500 visitor from the Middle East and overseas.

“The air cargo and aviation services industry  has evolved over the years supporting the state economy immensely , which needs more support from the regulators and stake holders in the respective states to overcome various obstacles, which the involved players are facing now?” said Menon.

“The regulatory framework, pressing issues and  solutions to how to overcome the obstacles?, will be discussed at the conference, which is also expected to serve as an effective networking venue, where delegates can explore opportunities to build new or strengthen existing commercial partnerships in the region,” he added.

This forum has also attracted the participation of major global and regional companies, including DHL, Rockwell Collins, Thales Group, Shairco Interior Projects, Beumer Group, Gulf Aviation Academy, GMR Aviation, Siemens and Cavotec, among others. – TradeArabia News Service
