Suez environnement unifies activities under single brand

Suez environnment Group, which has more than 40 different brands, has unified all its activities under a single brand to speed up its development and address the issues of resources.

The group's trademarks are being federated in a single brand, Suez environnement positioned in the sustainable management of resources, said a statement.

The brands include SITA, Degrémont, Lyonnaise des Eaux, AGBAR, Aqualogy, United Water, Ondeo Industrial Solutions and SAFEGE.

The three major goals for this change are to simplify a multi-brand architecture for improved performance and commercial efficiency; to meet the new needs of customers, in local authorities and industry, as they face new environmental and societal challenges; and to reinforce the convergence between the group's activities so that the challenges of a circular economy can be addressed.

The change to a single brand will support the group's strategy, based on four essential pillars: smart water and new services, industry, waste-to-energy and international growth.

It will consolidate the group's positioning as one of the key players in the resource revolution and will allow it to achieve its stated ambitions.

Until now, it has been organised around two major activities: water and waste. With the change, it is being positioned to focus on sustainable management of resources, through four main activities - the management of the extended water cycle, the recycling and reuse of waste, water treatment solutions and consulting services for sustainable urban and regional development.

Jean Louis Chaussade, chief executive officer of Suez environnement, said: ”The resource revolution will bring about a major and deep-seated transformation of our societies, much like the industrial or digital revolutions. So the group must be ready to meet its customers' future needs and converge its activities in order to anticipate and support these changes.
