Alba backs major CSR conference in Bahrain

MANAMA, February 11, 2015

Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) provided sponsorship support for the leading corporate social responsibility event which concluded in Bahrain today (February 11).

The three-day Second Bahrain International Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Conference and Exhibition, was held at the Gulf International Convention Centre, Gulf Hotel, under the theme ‘Beyond Eco-Industrialism: Paving the way for a better tomorrow.’

Alba’s support to this major CSR event is in line with its consistent track record as a company that contributes positively to society, said a statement.

The firm highlighted the various CSR projects it is involved in at its exhibition stand, it said.

Tim Murray, chief executive officer, said: “Alba has been at the forefront of corporate social responsibility initiatives, which stems from a sense of desire to contribute positively to society.
