Print, petchem industries see robust growth in GCC

JEDDAH, February 11, 2015

The plastics, petrochemical, printing and packaging industries in Saudi Arabia and the rest of the GCC are seeing robust productivity growth, according to an expert.

Kamil Al-Jawhari, project manager of Saudi Print & Pack and Saudi Plastics & Petrochem (Saudi PPPP), revealed at a gala dinner organised by Riyadh Exhibitions Company (REC) in Jeddah that regional firms are aiming to provide top-of-the-line products and services to meet the highest international standards.

The Saudi PPPP, which will take place under the patronage of the Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will run from from March 1 to 3 at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events.

The Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic) will take part in the two exhibitions as a diamond sponsor, while Saudi Polymers and Petro Rabigh will serve as the platinum and gold sponsors, respectively.

Al-Jawhari also underlined the strategic efforts of various companies in promoting the industry’s competitiveness.

As Saudi PPPP’s organiser, REC effectively contributes to the growth of key companies and the industry as a whole by hosting the two exhibitions.

The exhibitions are poised to provide both exhibitors and visitors an ideal opportunity to learn about new industry trends and developments as well as meet with their peers in the sector.

“This year’s Saudi PPPP will feature the latest technologies and solutions in the plastics, petrochemical, printing and packaging industries. Attracting numerous key industry players, the event will allow access to new sources to address market needs as well as facilitate the building of lucrative business relations and signing of new agreements with leading providers and manufacturers,” said Al-Jawhari.

“The annual Saudi PPPP offers suitable opportunities for business development and meaningful interaction with leading players from the Saudi industrial sector. It displays the latest products and services and draws wide participation from local, regional and international dealers and producers that are seen to boost trade exchange amongst exhibitors and contractors,” he said.

“The largest gathering of industry decision makers and Saudi experts also provides an ideal platform to promote the latest industry brands and products,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
