Emiares Boeing 777 ... maintenance deal with Parker Aerospace.

Parker in aircraft maintenance deal with Emirates

IRVINE, California, February 2, 2015

Parker Aerospace, a business unit of Parker Hannifin Corporation, has signed a long-term agreement with Dubai-based Emirates airline to provide a comprehensive maintenance package for its fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A330/A340 aircraft and engines.

Parker will provide maintenance support to Emirates, covering its hub and various outstations through its worldwide network of repair facilities.

The terms of the agreement are part of an enhanced service offering provided to operators and will provide Emirates guaranteed repair turnaround times, access to an in-region inventory pool, and a local support team, a statement said.

Iain Lachlan, divisional senior vice president, Emirates Engineering,  said: “We are glad to extend our long-standing relationship with Parker to provide comprehensive maintenance services for our Boeing and Airbus fleet. Emirates’ fleet of modern, wide-body aircraft operate 24/7 across the globe, spanning the Americas to Japan and in environments ranging from polar temperatures to arid deserts. We need our aircraft to be in top condition and having a trusted partner who can support our rigorous MRO program is important for the smooth running of our operations.”

“We are delighted to extend our partnership with Emirates — a global leader in aerospace growth, service, and network availability — for a further 10 years and beyond,” said Ben van Sleeuwen, director of EMEA for Parker Aerospace’s customer support operations.

“This agreement provides cost predictability to our customer, while offering enhanced services and product performance for its fleet of Boeing and Airbus aircraft.”  - TradeArabia News Service
