Dubai Forward to address key legal issues at conference

DUBAI, January 28, 2015

Dubai Forward, an annual conference that addresses strategic issues that impact the current and future legal and regulatory framework of Dubai will take place next month.

The event will be organised by the Swiss group, Academy & Finance, in partnership with Mashreq Private Banking, said a company statement.

The various issues will be discussed over thought-provoking and informative presentations by the Dubai authorities, regulators as well as the local and international financial and wealth management industry at the event.

In its second year, Dubai Forward will take place on February 23 and 24, at the Mina A’ Salam Hotel in Dubai, UAE.

Delegates will gain technical information and advice from detailed discussions comprising of 40 distinguished speakers.

Key topics will include new regulation, exchange of fiscal information, new investment vehicles, better solutions to operate in the Emirate, Dubai’s role in private banking, use of offshore companies and distribution of financial products.

The conference is designed for senior executives from private banks, asset management firms, family offices, fiduciary firms, trust companies and law firms from the UAE and abroad as well as government organisations which oversee and contribute to the development of Dubai.
