Embraer Legacy 650

EAG inducts new Embraer Legacy business jet in Oman

DUBAI, December 17, 2014

Empire Aviation Group (EAG), a Dubai-based private aviation services company, has inducted a new Embraer Legacy 650 business jet into its managed fleet based in Oman.

The Legacy 650 is for an existing owner and will be managed for private use only from Oman, where EAG manages three business jets, said a statement.

EAG completed the full technical inspection, delivery and induction process of the super midsize business jet and will continue to manage and operate the new aircraft on behalf of a long standing client, it said.

EAG manages a fleet of 27 business jets, based across the UAE, Oman, India and Africa.

The Embraer Legacy 650 offers outstanding performance and comfort with a raft of business, entertainment and relaxation tools.

The 650 has three cabin zones, with the largest cabin, galley and lavatory in its class. The baggage compartment is fully accessible during flight. The cabin management system includes seamless connectivity, high definition capabilities and integrated Apple TV to enhance passenger experience.

Its performance is equally impressive in hot or high altitude destinations and its 99.8% dispatch reliability over 21 million flight hours creates one of the best man-hour to flight-hour ratios in the super-midsize category.

EAG continues to expand its operations and to scale up its successful asset management approach that offers total support to aircraft owners, through a full aircraft management service which can also include aircraft acquisition and charter, depending on the needs of the owner.

The company is currently looking at additional operating bases in Africa and the Far East, to support growing demand for its services.

Paras Dhamecha, executive director, EAG, said: “Oman is a relatively small business jet market and we are delighted to be managing three aircraft based there. Finding and acquiring an aircraft is just the start of the ownership process and our specialist team was able to conduct the critical technical inspection of the new aircraft, which was acquired directly from Embraer.

“This detailed inspection by our own experts protects the owner, right from the beginning, before we arrange delivery and induction into the managed fleet. It’s an important part of our asset management service to owners, even for new aircraft bought directly from manufacturers.” - TradeArabia News Service
