500 entrepreneurs to strengthen ties at Oman event

MUSCAT, December 1, 2014

More than 500 entrepreneurs, business leaders, ambassadors, investors and young professionals from across Oman and the GCC are set to attend an event aimed at networking and strengthening ties in the Sultanate.

The second edition of the largest networking event in Oman will take place at the Grand Hyatt Muscat on January 20 next year, representative of the British Business Forum, the Oman American Business Council, the European Business Persons Group and the Australian Business Group Oman said.

It has been tailored to provide an environment for attendees to build on common interests, share ideas and information, said a statement.

Maggie Jeans, a Back2Business Committee member, said: "Our commitment is to provide an opening for local companies to network, promote their businesses and connect with fellow professionals so that as a business community we continue to grow and thrive."

Forward-thinking companies and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity of engaging directly with current and prospective clients, while promoting their products and services, she said.
