Borouge sponsors Arabplast 2015

DUBAI, November 19, 2014

Borouge, a leading provider of plastics solutions, will participate as a principal sponsor at Arabplast 2015, the largest plastics, petrochemicals and rubber industry trade show in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region.

The event will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Dubai, UAE, from January 10 to 13, 2015.

Borouge’s participation at Arabplast reflects the growing significance of the event as the most important plastics exhibition in the Middle East where top leading plastics producers, manufacturers and convertors from the GCC and other parts of the world meet to discuss and exchange knowledge and best practices and learn about the latest technologies used in the industry.

Arabplast has emerged as one of the largest trade shows for plastics, rubber and petrochemicals industries in the world, and it has attracted leading companies to discuss major industry related issues and exchange ideas and experiences to better improve the plastics industry and help face the future challenges.

Arabplast 2015 will see a growth of 20 per cent with a record number of exhibitors and sponsors compared to 2013. Over 1,100 companies from 45 countries are going to participate at Arabplast 2015. This reflects the growing importance of the event as seen by the GCC countries who are aiming to strengthen their manufacturing industries, including both plastics and rubber sectors.
 
Borouge will be demonstrating its wide range of innovative plastics solutions for infrastructure, automotive and advanced packaging that contribute to addressing major global challenges such as climate change, food protection, access to fresh water, energy conservation, healthcare and waste management.

Borouge will showcase its latest polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) innovative solutions for a wide range of pipe, wire and cable, film and fibre and moulding applications, in addition to highlighting its growth and expansion projects such as Borouge 3 which enables the Company to increase its total annual production capacity from 2 million to 4.5 million tonnes of polyolefins in 2014, making the Borouge Ruwais site the world’s largest integrated polyolefins plant.
