Kawam... UAE logistics market on a roll.

Globe Express Jan-Sept revenue up 8pc in UAE

DUBAI, October 30, 2014

Globe Express Services (GES), a major provider of logistics services, has recorded an eight per cent growth in revenue for its UAE offices between January and September, compared to the same period last year.

The company is upbeat that the strong revenue growth is in line with the momentum witnessed by the UAE’s logistics sector, a statement said.

“Globe Express Services’ revenue growth is attributed to tremendous growth registered by the UAE’s logistics sector,” said Mustapha Kawam, managing director-Gulf States, Globe Express Services.

“The UAE has developed into a world-class logistic hub due to its unique strengths, including its strategic location, modern infrastructure, rising population, and strong growth in trade volume between Europe and Asia. We will leverage this advantage to further increase our revenues in the country, and remain committed to delivering quality and excellence to our customers,” he added.

Globe Express Services has charted a well-defined strategy to further reinforce its key offerings with an aim to continue with its exceptional growth in 2015.

For this reason, the company’s management has decided to enhance their business ties with existing customers and key vendor partners, develop new business and industry verticals, and upgrade their technology platform to streamline all processes, said Kawam.

GES currently operates in the UAE from its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and has a state-of-the-art industrial warehouse in the Jebel Ali Free Zone.  – TradeArabia News Service
