Emirates Transport posts $408m revenues

Emirates General Transport and Services Corporation has recorded a Dh1.5 billion ($408.3 million) in total revenues last year, maintaining an annual growth rate of 18 per cent over the part five years, said a report.

The company has reported total assets of about Dh2 billion during the period, said the Emirates News Agency (WAM) report.

Its report ‘Growth and Sustainability,’ which marked 32 years of the corporation’s work, said it has 800 clients from the public and private sectors and has signed 218 new major contracts and investment agreement with strategic partners, it said.

ET said its corporate social responsibility programmes, which have seen significant growth due to its community- and environment-oriented programmes and Emiratisation plans, provide a solid foundation for its new 2014-2016 plan aimed at achieving further excellence, it added.
