DHL Express has appointed Abdulaziz Busbate as the new country manager for its Bahrain operations.

Busbate has been working with DHL for the past 14 years and brings a wealth of experience to the local operations, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

He joined DHL Express Saudi Arabia in 2000 as territory manager and moved up the ladder to become DHL Express Saudi Arabia's national channel sales manager, a position he held until recently.

"Our decision to appoint Abdulaziz Busbate as the new country manager for Bahrain stems from the company's commitment to providing opportunities for growth to all employees within DHL," DHL Express Mena chief executive Nour Suliman said.

"DHL Express has always demonstrated a high sense of commitment to its workforce and fosters a work environment that encourages and facilitates professional growth and development.
