Top air cargo expo opens in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, April 9, 2014

CEOs, directors and senior decision makers representing over 15 emerging markets airports will present their airports expansion projects worth over $150 billion at a major air cargo and logistics exhibition that opened today (April 9) in Abu Dhabi.

The fourth annual Emerging Airports Conference and Exhibition (EACE) 2014 was inaugurated by Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi, director general of UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).

The two-day event is co-located with the Middle East Air Cargo & Logistics Exhibition and Conference at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

In his opening remarks Al Suwaidi said that the two day event is a unique opportunity to know more about the industry. Given the important role logistics and aviation play in UAE's economy, the combination of an airports development and logistics forum seems to be ideal to discuss the opportunities in goods transportation industry and infrastructure needed for the process, he added.

The two day event, Emerging Airports Conference and Exhibition (EACE) 2014 is one of the leading industry event for airport suppliers focusing on business & partnership opportunities in the world’s fastest growing aviation markets.
