Doha, December 29, 2013

A range of topics pertaining to developments in feedstocks, production, petrochemical value chain and operational optimisation will form the agenda for an upcoming petrochemicals summit in Doha.

Organised by Fleming Gulf, the fourth annual Global Petrochemicals Technology Conference, will run from May 6 to 8 at Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel.

One of the key highlights of the conference will be a presentation on supplementing traditional production methods to incorporate new feedstocks by Dr Fahad Al-Sherehy, general manager at Sabic Technology Center. His focus will be on the challenges faced in identifying the factors while choosing the best feedstock and overcoming them.

A case study at the conference will also focus on the use of non-toxic biodegradable bio - organic catalysts and new technological breakthroughs. The forum will create an avenue to exchange viewpoints concerning the future and simultaneously aim to benefit from the experience of other countries.

The conference being sponsored by Unidense and Haldor Topsoe is supported by The Independent Power Producers Forum (IPPF), an international non-profit NGO of senior executives and decision-makers and related firms with energy business commitments. – TradeArabia News Service
