Egypt's El Sewedy Cables said on Tuesday it would establish a $42 million low-voltage cable plant in a joint-venture in Yemen, making it the first cable producer in the country.

The plant would produce a maximum of 12,000 tonnes of copper and aluminium, and would reach full capacity in its fourth year of operation.-Reuters
