MPC takes operational control of all Thumbay pharmacies

Modern Pharmaceutical Company (MPC), a part of Albatha Holding, has reached an agreement with Thumbay Group, a major player in the UAE healthcare sector, to take full operational control of all its pharmacies with immediate effect.
Under this deal, Thumbay and MPC, both major players in the healthcare sector, will work together to provide an integrated approach to healthcare provision for Thumbay’s pharmacy customers in hospitals and community settings.
Thumbay as as per the deal it will transfer the management and financial governance of the pharmacy estate to MPC’s Patient & Customer Division for a fixed term while the ownership of the pharmacy estate will remain with the group.
A diversified business conglomerate based in the UAE, Thumbay Group has operations across 20 sectors, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies in India.
