Seha opens new 204-bed hospital in Ras al Khaimah

RAS AL KHAIMAH, April 8, 2021

Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (Seha) has announced the opening of a 204-bed hospital in the northern emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. 
 
The Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Field Hospital, which spreads over a 7,000-sq-m area, has been built by Seha in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
 
Employing 75 doctors, 231 nurses and 44 paramedics, the facility features 48 ICU units and 156 dedicated units for moderate and severe cases of Covid-19, it added.
 
Speaking at the opening, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, said: "The establishment of the 204-bed hospital is reflective of the singular efforts made by the UAE on confronting the Covid-19 pandemic and on ensuring world-class medical care services for the entire population."
 
"It is a qualitative addition to this vital sector that reinforces the advanced medical capacities of Ras Al Khaimah to continue to ensure public health and safety," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
