Al Masaood TBA offers free services

ABU DHABI, April 1, 2020

Underscoring its commitment to the society and as a gesture of gratitude in the face of crisis, Al Masaood Tyres, Batteries and Accessories (TBA) announced that it is now offering free services to healthcare workers who are battling the coronavirus pandemic in the UAE.

The initiative falls in line with the ‘Thank you Heroes’ campaign, which was  launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and following the recognition of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, of the  commitment and hard work of health workers and the UAE’s first line of defenders against COVID-19, including the medical and nursing teams and all those related to the health sector.

Salah Adib, General Manager, Al Masaood TBA, said: “We launched this initiative in line with the ‘Thank you Heroes’ campaign to express our gratitude and appreciation to the healthcare workers who are battling the coronavirus pandemic on the frontline. Their efforts and energy to protect and serve every human being living and working in the country, with no regard for their own safety, is admirable.

"As they continue to work hard to ensure the safety of all categories of the Emirati society and maintain a safe and healthy environment, we are doing our part to support them in every possible way. We stand with them during this difficult time and remain committed to utilising all our capabilities to support the society and ensure the wellbeing of the community.”

The new initiative allows healthcare workers to benefit from a set of service including tyre changing, oil and filter changing, wheel balancing, wheel alignment, battery change, Nitrogen filling, engine diagnostics, puncture repair, wiper change and AC servicing. All of these services will be provided by highly skilled technicians at well-equipped service centres.

Al Masaood TBA had recently announced the launch of a free car sanitisation service at its AutoServ car care centre in Abu Dhabi’s Sea Palace area. The service offered sterilisation of all surfaces inside the car, thereby removing traces of dirt, bacteria and germs from these surfaces.

This initiative formed part of Al Masaood’s ‘Wiqaya’ campaign, which was launched across all of its division and service centres. The campaign was designed to support the implementation of precautionary and preventive measures aimed at protecting the health and safety of both customers and employees, in accordance with the highest standards followed by the government.-- Tradearabia News Service
