The Arab Gulf Programme for Development (Agfund) has invited submission of projects for the 2019 Prince Talal International Prize for Human Development that best contribute to achieving the sixth goal of the SDGs 2030.

Projects must contribute to "Ensure access to water and sanitation for all" or at least one of its targets.

The Prize amount is $1 million divided into four categories as below:

•    First category prize ($400,000), specified for projects implemented by UN agencies or international and regional NGOs.

•    Second category prize ($300,000), specified for projects implemented by national NGOs.

•    Third category prize ($200,000), specified for projects implemented by governmental bodies (ministries and public institutions) or social business enterprises.

•    Fourth category prize ($100,000), specified for projects initiated, funded and/or implemented by individuals.

The deadline for receiving nominations is November 30. – TradeArabia News Service
