Both children are now recovering and are feeling fit.

The trip is part of the group’s ‘Realise Your Dreams’ campaign to provide positive experiences and build memories for those who have been through traumatic and life threatening situations. The children have been gifted a complete holiday package to the UAE for themselves and their respective fathers that includes visiting some of the country’s most iconic landmarks such as the Sharjah Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Noor Island, Sharjah Aquarium, the Cultural Museums and Sharjah Art Foundation, the deserts surrounding the emirate and Global Village.

Meeting all their hosting teams, Chirag said: “We have realised our dream of coming this far and exploring new places, meeting new people and understand the culture, languages and diversity in this place. I can’t stop clicking these beautiful memories”.

Smiling, Prathik added: “My friends, family and all of us are grateful to everyone and our Dr. Amol Dhongre at Alexis. It is exciting to receive so much respect and many gifts we take back along with fond memories to our families. The treatment and this experience changed our perspective of life”.

Taher Shams added: “We are thrilled to be able to organise this wonderful experience for the children who have been treated at our Alexis Multispeciality Hospital facility in India. The trip is a celebration of their recovery from cancer and we hope that it will become a lasting and cherished memory for them in the future. The children’s recovery is a testament to the dedicated doctors and nurses based in our Nagpur facility, and we’re looking forward to celebrating many more success stories in the years to come. ”
