Japanese firms gears up for Arab Health expo

TOKYO, December 7, 2016

More than 20 companies representing the Japanese healthcare sector will be showcasing their latest innovations and products, ranging from healthcare and new treatment methods, at the Arab Health exhibition, in Dubai, UAE, next year.

The event will take place from January 30 to February 2, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Seeking to maintain its leading position in the healthcare technology industry, Japan is promoting its top companies and manufacturers which have been working for years to innovate and develop high-end devices and products.

In recent years Japanese companies launched a number of new distribution strategies for their technologies outside Japan in order to share the knowledge and develop public health across all sectors.

Among these companies are Hakuzo Medical, Feather Safety Razor, Dr Japan, Daiichi Medical, Chest MI, Ito, Mitsubishi Rayon Cleansui, Yamada Shadowless and Kaji Corporation.

The Japanese government also deployed its efforts to help develop healthcare technology as part of its newly adopted development strategy which supports the economic growth of Japanese healthcare companies.

The government of Prime Minister Abe Shinzo issued in 2013 the government's national policy called "Japan is Back".

In this policy it settled Japan’s goals to expand its medical technologies around the globe including in the Middle East by 2020 with the aim to hold great market share ($50 billion) in healthcare products, technologies and services by 2030, making full use of Medical Excellence Japan (MEJ).

Through international synergies Japan aims to promote good quality and healthcare development disseminating Japanese medical technologies, practices and equipment in accordance with the status of partner countries. - TradeArabia  News Service
