The new deal will deploy Imdaad’s sustainable waste management services across Union Coop’s 12 branches, in addition to staff accommodation.

Union Coop’s outlets are spread over strategic communities in Dubai such as Satwa, Rashidiya, Hamriya, Towar, Mankhool, Jumeirah, Aweer, Wasl, and Umm Suqeim, in addition to branches in Mirdif’s Etihad Mall and Al Barsha’s Barsha Mall. As a leading hypermarket chain, we believe choosing the right partner is essential for any responsible business. We are confident Imdaad can deliver the best waste management practices to help us save on cost as well as reduce our business operations’ environmental impact.”

Jamal Abdullah Lootah, CEO, Imdaad, said: “Securing the contract with Union Coop is another significant addition to Imdaad’s ever expanding capacity to sustainably manage waste in Dubai and showcase our strengths in managing diverse types of waste products. We look forward to bring in our comprehensive waste management services to support Union Coop’s efforts to strengthen its environmental initiatives and contribute to Dubai’s vision of a clean and sustainable city.”
