Batelco launches beach cleaning drive

Batelco, the leading telecommunications operator in Bahrain, has organised a beach cleaning campaign at the Al Malkiya Beach in collaboration with the Northern Area Municipality, in line with its commitment to support the community.
Suhaila Alnowakhda, general manager - HR and Corporate Services, said that Batelco is very keen to support the environment and over recent years has introduced a number of green initiatives at its premises in Bahrain.
“Batelco continues to look at ways it can support the local environment and the beach cleaning campaign at Al Malkiya Beach fits very well with our aspirations. Everyone worked very hard but also had fun and enjoyed the team spirit generated by such an occasion,” she said.
