In line with this, DHA is conducting several health awareness initiatives until July 4. It will hold a health awareness campaign in co-opeartion with Dubai Municipality at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The 10-day campaign will include DHA health professionals carrying out free-of-cost health screening including blood sugar, blood pressure and DHA nutritionists educating the public about healthy eating during Ramadan.

DHA nutritionists will also provide DHA staff members with daily health tips and nutritious Ramadan recipes and information will be available on DHA staff's laptops in the form of screensavers.

The information will be regularly updated and the focus will be to educate DHA staff members on what constitutes a healthy plate.

DHA nutritionists will also disseminate Ramadan health tips to fasters who visit the clinical nutrition clinics in DHA primary healthcare centres.
