Saudi health centre deploys safety culture analytics engine

RIYADH, April 29, 2015

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, a leading tertiary healthcare institution in Saudi Arabia, has deployed the Health Matrix and Synensis to conduct and supply actionable and valid patient safety culture measurements.

The engagement will provide actionable and valid information, feedback, and analysis to further enhance the centre’s ongoing commitment to improving patient safety culture, said a statement.

Hassan AlRayes, chief quality officer, said: “Our partnership with Synensis-Health Matrix will provide an impartial assessment of our culture enriched with advanced analysis and industry leading approach to ensure the success of KFSH&RC efforts to improve the patient safety culture.”

Health Matrix and Synensis will be tasked with assisting the centre in its culture survey design, administration of the survey, response monitoring, results analysis, benchmarking, and patient safety improvement initiatives.

Synensis’s Safety Culture Analytics Engine includes survey planning and design; survey administration; survey analysis and benchmarking; reports and on sites debriefs; and improvement actions and progress.
