ADSG launches Kirkpatrick 4-level evaluation for employees
ABU DHABI, December 28, 2021
As part of its efforts to enhance government employees’ competencies and training, the Abu Dhabi School of Government (ADSG), has launched its ‘Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluation Certification Programme’.
The programme seeks to provide participants with deeper insights into the Kirkpatrick methodology and the learning and development evaluation process, in order to maximise performance results within their respective government entities.
The development of this programme, comes as part of ADSG’s efforts to foster a continuous learning and development culture that will build a sustainable and knowledge-based economy.
A globally recognised method of evaluating the results of training and learning programmes, the Kirkpatrick Method provides a standard for leveraging and validating talent investments.
Participants will also learn about the four levels of evaluation, receive a participant manual filled with examples and templates that can be used to build their own ‘Blended Evaluation Plan’ tools, and acquire a complete understanding of what each level measures.
The programme will explore the reasons why evaluation is critical to training success and provide opportunities for participants to hear case studies and success stories from companies that have used the model effectively, enabling all to learn which tactics can help allocate training resources effectively.
Reflecting on the new programme, Mohammed Gheyath, Acting Director-General of ADSG commented: “At ADSG, we are the forefront in enabling the latest techniques in training evaluation to equip Abu Dhabi Government employees with the best possible assets for learning and development. We are thrilled to welcome the addition of this new programme to our growing roster of learning and development initiatives that seek to equip and empower government employees. We are certain that this programme will provide participants with the unmissable opportunity to deliver change in their entities and impact performance results greatly.”
He added: “As the programme focuses on the exploration of how to ensure that what is learned transfers to on-the-job behaviours, this programme is an exciting development opportunity that will facilitate for the internal certification of all participants and will help participants link the results achieved at each level to establish the big picture outcome.
“The programme will also empower participants to work as a key internal business partner that is aligned with the visions and missions of their organisations and key stakeholders, and will facilitate the growth of key insights in learning effectiveness, learning evaluation and strategic thinking in evaluation.”
