E K Kanoo wins excellence award for employee development

MANAMA, November 16, 2021

Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo, the diversified business conglomerate, has won the ‘Mark of Excellence’ award for its exceptional Learning Management System ‘Learn’. 
 
The award was from the region’s most prestigious HR awarding body, The Future Workplace Awards, which was part of the three-day HRSE Summit & Expo 2021, held at the Convention Centre, World Trade Centre Dubai.
 
Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo was the only Bahraini company featured in the prestigious event and was nominated alongside other industry giants such as Air Arabia, Jumeirah Group, Ejadah and Kafco. 
 
The award is testament to the company’s cutting-edge learning and development technology implementation, with its training centre emerging as a true centre of excellence in the region. Ebrahim K. Kanoo Head of Talent Dr John Mathew and Head of Graduate Recruitment & Bahraini Development, AbdulAmeer Darwish, received the award at the prestigious event.

The Learn platform, developed by the Ebrahim K. Kanoo Training Centre, is one of several employee engagement projects undertaken by the company to invest in its people. The comprehensive learning and training platform provides easy access for all company employees to utilise blended and micro learning elements, curriculums, training videos, quizzes, and others including artificial intelligence for a fair and advanced experience. 
 
The platform also has other features for trainers to create courses and for line managers to view teams progress and recommend courses. Moreover, the system will feature an ability to host off the shelf eLearning content for training purposes.-- TradeArabia News Service
