UAE college announces education grant for frontline workers

DUBAI, July 27, 2021

Capital University College, one of the UAE’s leading higher education institutions, has announced a financial bursary for UAE’s frontline workers and their immediate families who intend to begin their higher education journey. 
Medical field professionals and their families are eligible for a 50 percent off on the tuition fee as a token of appreciation for the resilience portrayed during the pandemic. Along with this, the University has made a formal announced that all vaccinated students will receive 30%-50% of the financial bursary, depending on the chosen programme.
Commenting on this initiative, Capital University College Co-Founder & Director Dr Vikas Nand Kumar Batheja said: “It is indeed a moment of pride for Capital University College as we could successfully roll out this financial bursary for all the medical field professionals, their immediate family and vaccinated residents. 
"This is our way of supporting and emphasising the notion that - education should not be left compromised. The world requires talented minds and education can certainly be a stepping-stone to transform their professional pathways," Batheja continued.
On a similar note, college Co-Founder & Director Dr Sanjay Batheja added: “This is one of the initiatives which has been in the pipeline for a long period. At Capital University College, we strive towards producing managers, C-suite executives and entrepreneurs who will be the future of leading corporations and industries.”
Through this initiative, the higher education institution acknowledges and supports the medical heroes' efforts by granting a bursary worth up to AED15,000 ($4,084). Ranging from undergraduate programmes to doctorate, vaccinated individuals can present their vaccine card to avail this offer. 
Currently, Capital College holds four partnerships, North Wales Business School Glyndwr University in the UK, Westcliff University in California, London College of Arts and Italy’s Rome Business School. Through these partnerships, the University offers international accredited qualifications where students can enroll and graduate.-TradeArabia News Service
