Oman to spend $87m on 20 new schools

Oman's Ministry of Education is currently building 20 new schools at a cost of OR33 million ($87 million), a report said quoting officials.
 
The government is currently working on building new educational facilities for the increasing number of students so their learning needs are properly met, said the report in Times of Oman.
 
Of the 20 school buildings, four have already been delivered. Seven more will be delivered by the beginning of the second semester of this academic year, said Mustafa bin Ali bin Abdullatif, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Administrative and Financial Affairs.
