Tamkeen awarded with ISO certification

MANAMA, January 15, 2018

Bahrain’s labour fund Tamkeen has been awarded with the latest ISO 9001: 2015 certification as a reward for its continuous efforts in developing quality standards in all its departments.

Tamkeen is one of the first government organizations to obtain the latest version of this certificate, to improve the quality of services provided to customers as effectively as possible.

Dr Ebrahim Mohammed Janahi, Tamkeen's chief executive said that Tamkeen will be on another stage of progress and improvement in all aspects of its work to be able to meet the needs of customers effectively and improve the quality of services provided to them. In addition to managing the resources effectively, avoiding any gaps in work, and motivating employees to integrate proactively.

He added that the implementation of the best quality management standard ISO 9001: 2015 puts Tamkeen among the first government organizations to adopt the highest standards of quality in performance.

Tamkeen's acquisition of this certificate represents another proof to our customers, partners and employees of its commitment at providing the best programs and services to achieve customer satisfaction.

“The declaration of quality policies has been published clearly to all as it is one of the requirements of the ISO, which comes in consistent with ‘the transparency’ as one of Tamkeen’s core values,” Dr Janahi added.

He mentioned that Tamkeen's acquisition of this certificate comes in line with its new strategy to expand channels of communication with customers and to know their needs accurately in order to meet them in the best way. He said that the launch of the new three-year strategy and developing its operational plan to increase its efficiency comes in line with the requirements of the advanced ISO standards.

He pointed out that obtaining ISO is not only a culmination of Tamkeen's efforts, but also the beginning of a new phase in which the quality system is monitored, measured and evaluated periodically under the full responsibility of senior management based on risk analysis, and to communicate at all levels about the organization's status and effectiveness.

"We are now focusing on constantly reviewing and updating the latest quality management system standards, to implement the latest developments in addition to holding training courses for our employees as needed to enhance and develop their skills in this field. To do whatever it takes to ensure that the organization's system is still in line with quality management standards,” Dr Janahi concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
