Al Safar, ETH partner for Digital Campus software

MANAMA, December 21, 2017

Bahrain-based Al Safar Group (ASG) and ICT development company ETH have signed an agreement for the promotion and distribution of ETH Digital Campus software across schools and educational institutions in Bahrain and the UAE.

With this app, parents of schools that are managed through ETH Digital Campus School Management System, get access to all information about their children’s progress and activities.

The alliance combines Al Safar Group’s wide reach through the diverse activities of its group companies and its market position in education with ETH’s expertise in ICT for School Transformation programs.

Digital Campus is a one-stop-solution for educational institutions, assuring clean admission processes, timely collection of fees, disciplined scheduling of classes, accurate processing of results, assuring financial position, assuring parents of child progress, empowering teachers with content tools and much more.

Digital Campus helps schools connect to all stakeholders like Student, Parent, Teacher and Administrators for effective governance focused on Child Development, Learning and Teaching Processes, Knowledge Management, Collaboration and Communication besides Administrative processes.

Along with its many obvious benefits, where it acts as an integrated platform for enabling effective educational governance of the institution and enables visibility into the operations at the individual student level, Digital Campus also helps reduce work load and paper operations of administration. Most recently the Capital Schools, a well-known educational establishment with campuses in Bahrain and Dubai, have joined the ETH family.

Adel Al Safar, Al Safar Group chairman said: “We are proud to partner with ETH to tap the vast opportunities of using information and communication technology in education. Together, we intend to promote the software in Bahrain and UAE.”

“Strategic partnerships like this are a core pillar of our group’s strategy. The Capital School which come under the ASG umbrella has also installed the Digital Campus software to computerise all its operations and this stands testament to our belief and trust that the program will effectively and efficiently manage the school's programs and activities,” he added.

William Johnston, principal, Capital School Dubai said: “For any child or parent, the formative years in school are of great importance. We are very aware of the great trust parents put into the school to care for the children and to ensure that their learning and growth experience there is the best. The Digital Campus program enables us in this effort, and helps to make both parents and school effective partners to this goal.” – TradeArabia News Service
