Paediatricians from Medcare Hospital will also be at the show to host invaluable child CPR sessions demonstrating valuable lifesaving skills to both parents and childcare providers. Medcare also host a special breast feeding room for mothers to relax at the show.

The fourth edition of the show will be held on October 28 and 29 at the DMC.

Event Organisers Baby Bazaar will present a superb line up of education brands from across Dubai, giving parents a unique opportunity to meet education leaders, principals, teachers and admissions staff.  The show will host schools, nurseries, tutoring services and home schooling to enable parents to discover all available options.

UAE parents are the significant spenders when it comes to education with recent reports the total spending on Education in the UAE is about 2 per cent of GDP. A recent WhichSchoolAdvisor.com study found that some Dubai parents will spend anywhere between Dh1.3 million ($353,000) and Dh2 million to educate their child from foundation years to their final year of high school, demonstrating that parents are not only bewildered by choice but face hardship in meeting those costs.  The School & Nursery Show also hopes to shed light on financial planning and approaches available to parents living in the UAE.

Event organiser Catherine McEvoy from Baby Bazaar Exhibition Organizing said: “As parents we are fortunate to have a wide array of choice of education compared with anywhere else in the world. Yet it’s bewildering and costlier than ever to educate children.”

“It can take months of research, budget planning and soul searching to narrow down options.  Parents agonise over their choices and worry about the financial commitment involved. The School & Nursery Show exists to help parents make sense of the ever changing landscape of education in Dubai so that parents can make informed choices. Parents can be sure that the educators they meet at the show will understand this because they share a vested interest in achieving the education goals of parents,” said McEvoy. – TradeArabia News Service
