British Academy offers training for Saudi officials

RIYADH, July 12, 2016

The British Academy for Training and Development (BATD) has joined hands with Senior Leaders Development Centre (SLDC) to conduct an advanced training programme for senior Saudi officials in London, UK.

BATD is one of the leading global academies in training and development solutions.

The programme will target several of the kingdom’s leaders and officials from across government organisations and ministries, said a statement from BATD.

The programme, planned for late July, will focus on ‘Leadership in Crisis Management’, where participants will learn how to craft plans to improve work and mitigate risks at the times of the crisis, remarked Adam Wilson, head of training at BATD.

The project will help participants to be aware of most advanced strategies, he said.

Dr Hamad Al Omran, director, SLDC, pointed out that the project was part of a plan to prepare leaders in the country for the 2030 development programme.

It is a step towards preparing and developing an advanced and expert workforce, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
