Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), a leading aluminium company, will be taking part in a big way at the Careers UAE 2016, the annual national careers exhibition to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 16 to 18.

Now in its 16th year, Careers UAE is the leading national platform for job seekers, as well as employers looking for skilled, bright Emirati talent – making it an important talent acquisition platform for EGA.

The aluminium company, which is among the top five in the world, was jointly set up by Mubadala Development Company of Abu Dhabi and the Investment Corporation of Dubai after combining their respective aluminium industry interests.

EGA said the exhibition gives it a unique opportunity to showcase the rewarding career opportunities in the organisation, where UAE nationals are empowered through ownership, accountability and team support; as well the multi-faceted training and development programmes designed to foster the future leaders of the business and the emirates.

Demonstrating its ongoing support for the Emiratization vision and objectives of UAE government, EGA and its operating subsidiaries have participated at Careers UAE since 2001. Last year, EGA’s Human Capital team received over 2,600 applications from promising candidates at the exhibition.

At the 2016 event, job seekers will be able to apply for graduate trainee positions, national training programmes as well as direct hire positions within EGA in the fields of electrical and mechanical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, industrial and chemical engineering, engineering management, business administration, finance, accounting and information technology.
