Jobs boost in Bahrain as 2,726 new businesses open

Bahrain’s economy generated more jobs in the past three months with 2,726 new businesses being opened employing more than 22,000 workers, according to a report. “The total number of employees in the kingdom grew by six per cent in the third quarter last year, to 717,218 compared with 667,845 for the same period in 2014,” said the latest Labour Market Regulatory Authority’s (LMRA) report on labour market indicators, in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
