UAE firm launches new nationalisation initiative

RIYADH, December 5, 2015

Abu Dhabi-based Exceed IT Services, a leading regional IT service provider, has launched Ibdaa, a major nationalisation initiative in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

The Ibdaa campaign is an initiative that specialises in two areas: training and guiding national fresh graduates to launch a career in IT, and supporting local entrepreneurship efforts, said a statement from the company.

Exceed IT Services was founded in 2001 by a team of achievement oriented professionals. Over the years, the company set up its headquarters in Abu Dhabi – UAE and branched out to the rest of the GCC.

By providing hands-on business and technical training on enterprise technologies, Exceed said it will be helping trainees lay the groundwork for a successful career in IT.

Upon completion of training, all candidates would have earned the certifications and experience to land excellent jobs in a competitive market, said the company.

The top achievers will be encouraged to start their own company and complete an entrepreneurship track, it added.

“There are a substantial number of nationals who are seeking specific IT jobs or have innovative business ideas. Through Ibdaa, we endeavour to provide the KSA national community with a platform to build and fulfill their dreams,” said the general Manager, Ahmad Chayati.

Through this and other initiatives, Exceed aims to expand its services base in KSA and around the region, he added.

Omar Wazzan, incharge of the Licensing Services unit said: “It is our pleasure to bring our remarkable licensing and services to Riyadh. We take great pride in our quality services and through this milestone, we look forward to being closer to our clients.”

The IT firm was recently appointed by Microsoft as its licensing solutions partner in the kingdom and authorized to supply large organizations with Microsoft volume licensing agreements.-TradeArabia News Service
