A Bahraini engineering student has bagged BD2,000 ($5,269) after claiming second place in an international technology showcase. Tasneem Yousif worked alongside fellow aspiring engineers Zainab Fardan Ahmed, Aysha Al Haram and Abeer Al Khalaf to create the ‘Robodem’ device that can detect flammable gases, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.
