QInvest hosts graduates from Paris Dauphine University

QInvest, a leading investment bank in Qatar and one of the most prominent Islamic financial institutions globally, is part of a select group of Islamic financial institutions chosen to host graduates of the Executive Master’s programme in Islamic Finance at Paris Dauphine University, as part of their 2015 international academic visit to Qatar.

The graduates had the opportunity to meet senior professionals at QInvest and listen to presentations by Dr Ataf Ahmed, head of Asset Management; Charles T Auniac, director - Real Estate Investment and Advisory; Sebastien Clement, sharia'a auditor, and Bernard Barbour, head of Legal and Sharia'a Affairs.

They also met with other senior members including Essa Saud Al-Kawari, head of Government and Community Relations and Administration Affairs.  

Tamim Hamad Al-Kawari, chief executive officer of QInvest, said: “QInvest is honoured to have been involved again with the International Academic Visit from Paris Dauphine University.

“Welcoming this group of international graduates enables us to strengthen the ties between QInvest and the international academic world and to increase awareness of Islamic finance and its growing importance in the region and beyond.”

For this year’s graduates it was an excellent opportunity to meet the senior team at QInvest, to learn from their deep expertise across the Islamic Finance sector and to enhance their understanding of the developments across the industry in the GCC region.”  

The visit comprised 18 students, who visited countries across the Middle East including UAE - Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain. - TradeArabia News Service
