Bahrain private school to resume classes

Manama, March 10, 2014

Classes at the private City International School in Bahrain will resume today.

The approval was granted after Education Minister Dr Majid Al Nuaimi received  safety reports from the Under-Secretary for Education and Curricula, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

A special committee in charge of inspecting the school facilities and an engineering consulting office had found that violations threatening students’ safety and security had been removed.

The school will now have to provide extra classes to compensate for the missing sessions, without charging additional fees.

Work teams will carry out periodic visits to ensure such violations are not repeated. - TradeArabia News Service
