
Oman Dental College holds its 1st graduation

Oman Dental College (ODC), the first and only dental college in the Sultanate, recently held its first graduation ceremony, where 47 candidates received their Bachelor of Dentistry (BDS) certificates.
ODC’s dean Dr Rahul Arora, said: “We are immensely proud of our first batch of graduates. We salute them for having the commitment and dedication to work through this exacting course successfully. We also acknowledge the role of their families in being so supportive of their education over these six years.”
The BDS course is a six-year curriculum and is based on a blend of British and Indian BDS curricula. It is designed to meet the respective academic and professional standards of both as specified by the UK General Dental Council (GDC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI).
This has been verified and endorsed by the International Advisory Panel, which includes experts from Europe and the UK, a statement said. – TradeArabia News Service
